Refunds and cancellations

All payments to the PBEL Malayalees Welfare Association (PMWA) are collected in Indian Rupees (INR) through a regulated payment gateway. Prices shown on the website are the final payable amounts and include any applicable taxes unless stated otherwise.

Onam Sadhya and event tickets

Tickets are non-refundable and non-cancellable. Provisions and the catering headcount are committed as soon as a booking is confirmed, so cancellation requests are not accepted through the website. A ticket you cannot use may be handed to another resident; the QR code admits whoever presents it. Duplicate or clearly erroneous payments are refunded in full after verification by the committee.

Membership

Membership contributions are non-refundable once the membership year has begun. Duplicate or accidental payments are refunded in full.

Sponsorship and advertisements

Sponsorship amounts are refundable only if PMWA is unable to deliver the agreed entitlements, or if the event is cancelled without a replacement date. Once branding has been published or printed, the amount is non-refundable.

Contributions and donations

Voluntary contributions are non-refundable except in the case of a duplicate or clearly erroneous transaction reported within seven days.

Failed and duplicate payments

If an amount is debited but no ticket or receipt is issued, it is either auto-reversed by your bank within 5–7 working days or refunded by PMWA after verification. Please do not pay again — write to us with the payment reference shown on your payment status page.

How refunds are made

Approved refunds are processed back to the original payment method only, within 7 working days of approval. Bank settlement typically takes a further 3–5 working days. Refunds are approved by the PMWA treasurer or the super administrator.
